About the Position

Midtown Health Center Inc is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant Professional to join our team. As a Medical Assistant Professional, you will provide high-quality patient care, support the healthcare team, and contribute to the smooth operation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist healthcare providers during examinations, prepare laboratory specimens, and perform basic laboratory tests.
  2. Verify patient information, take vital signs, and confirm the purpose of the visit or treatment.
  3. Document delivery of health care and nursing process in accordance with the clinic's policies and procedures.
  4. Administer medications and vaccines accurately and document in electronic health records.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant is required, with two years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
  • A current certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS) is also required.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
