Job Description

Hoffman Petroleum is seeking a skilled Petroleum Equipment Service Technician to fill a key role in our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair fuel dispensing systems, including electronic, mechanical, and plumbing components.
  • Troubleshoot and repair technical issues related to service station electronics and fuel systems, ensuring all work is done safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with fire safety standards, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Carry out regular maintenance and factory-approved modifications on equipment.
  • Maintain an organized set of tools to ensure safe and efficient job performance.
  • Adhere to customer-specific safety and housekeeping requirements when performing work on-site.
  • Handle warranty calls for fuel dispensers and tank monitoring systems.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by completing all tasks effectively, efficiently, and in line with customer expectations.
  • Be available for after-hours service calls, as required.
  • Maintain certifications from original equipment manufacturers, such as Wayne fuel dispensers and Verifone payment systems.
  • Work with project teams to assist lead technicians with the setup and commissioning of new equipment.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and a willingness to develop further technical skills.
  • Preferred: Certification for Wayne dispensers and Verifone systems.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and stand for 8-10 hours per day.
  • Must pass a drug screening, background check, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, driving is required for the position.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Flexibility to travel for service projects as needed.
