Neurology Clinical Services EMG Technician

USA Health is seeking a skilled EMG Technician to join our clinical services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing nerve conduction studies (NCS) on patients, assisting physicians with EMG procedures, and ensuring accurate and timely test results.
Responsibilities
Perform NCS on patients using specialized equipment and techniques
Assist physicians during EMG procedures, providing technical support and ensuring patient comfort and safety
Set up and calibrate equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and accuracy
Prepare patients for NCS and explain the procedure to alleviate any concerns or anxiety
Apply electrodes and other necessary equipment to the patient's body according to established protocols
Conduct nerve conduction tests, accurately recording and interpreting the results
Recognize and troubleshoot technical issues during tests, taking appropriate action to ensure accurate results
Collaborate with the healthcare team to review and discuss test findings, assisting in the formulation of diagnoses and treatment plans
Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including test data, reports, and other relevant information
Follow established safety and infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and three years of directly related experience
Bachelor's degree may substitute for up to three years of related experience
