Job Summary:

Huitt-Zollars is seeking an experienced drainage engineer to join their team in Houston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, as well as experience with drainage analysis and design.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare hydrologic and hydraulic models using HEC-RAS & HEC-HMS
  • Conduct research on jurisdictional drainage requirements
  • Oversee production of drainage design and construction drawings
  • Perform data management and prepare exhibits using ArcGIS and QGIS

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in drainage engineering
  • Licensed engineer in the state of Texas
  • Experience in the Houston area
