About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Logistics Analyst to join our team at At Home Stores LLC. As a key member of our Global Logistics team, you will play a critical role in supporting our logistics operations and strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, audit, and approve domestic and import invoices in collaboration with our freight audit service provider.
  • Build and maintain relationships with carriers to streamline services and resolve any issues.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure timely payment to transportation carriers.
  • Reconcile open invoice (aging) reports for multiple vendors.
  • Review, audit, and summarize operational data to create clear and concise executive summaries and presentations.
  • Translate data findings into actionable recommendations for management.
  • Collaborate with business units to gain an in-depth understanding of processes, challenges, and strategies.
  • Compile and analyze data to identify trends, proactively identify defects, and leverage creative and abstract problem-solving skills to support continuous improvement.
  • Forecast weekly, monthly, and annual volumes.
  • Contribute to bid strategies and execute bid activities for US import operations.
  • Streamline and simplify processes and procedures to support efficient management of the business.
  • Assist teams in pulling together QBR scorecards.
  • Manage dray carriers and destination management providers.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 5 years of professional experience with 3-5 years of experience in Global Logistics or financial roles.
  • Strong Excel, SQL, and Power BI skills are a must.
  • Invoice audit and pay experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable principles and procedures.
  • Organized and keen eye for details.
  • Ability to apply fundamental accounting knowledge and skills to customer invoicing processes.
  • Ability to prepare routine and special financial reports and records.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting internal and external deadlines.
  • Proficient business writing and speaking skills with a strong desire to exceed overall expectations.
