Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Investor Reporting Analyst to join our team at Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for preparing monthly reports, reconciliations, and research activities related to Fannie Mae portfolios. Your expertise will ensure compliance with FNMA guidelines and provide guidance to less senior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare reports with strict adherence to reporting requirements and collaborate with other departments on joint initiatives.
  • Submit monthly remittances on assigned portfolios within the applicable deadlines.
  • Investigate, reconcile, and resolve investor issues and reporting exceptions in a timely manner.
  • Research operational, reporting, or data issues and present solutions or process improvements to management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure overall investor satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and requirements.
  • Possess a strong understanding of pooling and servicing agreements/GSE Servicing Guides.
  • Perform quarterly reviews and updates of department policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership, training, and coaching to ensure optimum performance in support of company and department goals.
  • Present project statuses, issues, and concerns to Senior Management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 3-5 years of Mortgage Servicing experience with 3+ years of Investor Reporting experience.
  • Advanced MS Excel experience.
  • Access, SQL, or other database reporting experience.
  • Servicing Director knowledge is a plus.
  • Solid math aptitude with analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with Senior Management and other business units.
  • Prior work experience in business, data, and/or statistical analysis is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to multitask and respond to pressure and deadlines.
  • Results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
  • Fast learner with ability to assimilate new ideas and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
