Job Summary

Rose International is seeking a skilled Network Support Analyst to fill a critical role in our operations environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Test and verify infrastructure to ensure it meets specifications and requirements
  • Monitor and take corrective action for problems while minimizing customer impact
  • Document monitoring and recovery steps in internal tickets
  • Perform routine maintenance procedures as required by policy or procedure
  • Maintain metrics as defined by management
Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of routing/switching, tunneling, security operations/engineering, MPLS
  • Ability to function in 2 of the 5 expertise areas in the OCC (Unix, Mainframe, Production Control, Debit, Network) and be proficient in 1 of the 5 OCC expertise areas
  • Firewall experience
  • Basic Unix scripting and tool monitoring, JCL, MVS, Batch scheduling, knowledge of tandem technology
  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Effective problem/troubleshooting skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective organization and interpersonal skills
  • CCNA Certification or related training is highly preferred
Work Conditions:
  • Some on-call responsibility and occasional off-hours work required
  • 12 Hour Shift work
  • Work one weekend day per work week
