Rose International is seeking a skilled Network Support Analyst to fill a critical role in our operations environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement
- Test and verify infrastructure to ensure it meets specifications and requirements
- Monitor and take corrective action for problems while minimizing customer impact
- Document monitoring and recovery steps in internal tickets
- Perform routine maintenance procedures as required by policy or procedure
- Maintain metrics as defined by management
- Basic knowledge of routing/switching, tunneling, security operations/engineering, MPLS
- Ability to function in 2 of the 5 expertise areas in the OCC (Unix, Mainframe, Production Control, Debit, Network) and be proficient in 1 of the 5 OCC expertise areas
- Firewall experience
- Basic Unix scripting and tool monitoring, JCL, MVS, Batch scheduling, knowledge of tandem technology
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
- Effective problem/troubleshooting skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Effective organization and interpersonal skills
- CCNA Certification or related training is highly preferred
- Some on-call responsibility and occasional off-hours work required
- 12 Hour Shift work
- Work one weekend day per work week
