About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Value-Based Performance Expert to join our team at Wellmark, Inc.

This is a key individual contributor role that requires a strong healthcare network knowledge and passion for making healthcare better. The ideal candidate will have a knack for managing healthcare organization relationships, multiple priorities, and complex data-driven problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare organizations, physicians, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design, negotiate, and deploy value-based contracts and action plans.
  • Monitor and manage provider performance opportunities for total cost of care and quality benchmarks.
  • Negotiate competitive and complex value-based contractual relationships with healthcare organizations.
  • Continually assess the external environment and emergence of value-based contracting and network performance activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or direct and applicable work experience.
  • 4+ years of related healthcare industry experience with analysis of healthcare quality data and network management or provider relations.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Effective consultation skills, including the ability to persuade and influence key decision makers.
