Job Summary

As a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist at CommuniCare Family of Companies, you will play a vital role in providing holistic care to individuals struggling with behavioral health and Substance Use Disorder. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments under supervision to identify issues and develop treatment plans
• Provide group counseling and teach coping mechanisms to support individuals in their recovery journey
• Lead group/individual sessions as necessary and attend treatment teams when required to ensure seamless care coordination
• Prepare written reports and case summaries in accordance with program standards and professional ethics
• Ensure timely documentation meeting facility and regulatory standards to maintain a safe and healthy environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma, CDCA certification, and 40 hours of education in chemical dependency counseling/clinical methods required
• Must be 21 years or older and possess organizational skills, attention to detail, and maintain confidentiality
• Fully trained as a BHT/MHT, assists as needed per manager/director/supervisor assignments
