Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at Howard Stein Hudson. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading public infrastructure roadway projects from concept to construction.
Key Responsibilities- Develop design plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates for public bidding
- Provide support and guidance for junior staff, client and sub-consultant management and coordination
- Track project budgets and delegate work tasks to supporting staff
- Have a deep understanding of all matters related to the project development cycle with stakeholders of all experience and knowledge levels
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years' experience of progressive responsibility in Civil Engineering
- High level of proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Project management experience is a must
- P.E. license is preferred
- Experience with MassDOT and City of Boston standards and deliverables is strongly preferred
- Experience directly supervising staff is strongly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to utilize critical thinking, judgment, and experience to define, analyze and resolve problems and issues
