Personal Lines Business Developer

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of business-to-business sales success, possess strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills, and be able to close sales. They will also have a strong understanding of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations.
The role involves identifying, qualifying, and developing personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients, as well as fostering and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up, accurate and timely quotations, and general account support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients.
* Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects.
* Obtain best coverage/rate for insured, process quotes, and bind insurance coverage.
* Present policies to insured and educate them on coverages and rates.
Requirements:
* Hold the insurance license required by your state.
* Possess a valid driver's license and a source of reliable transportation.
* Strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations.
* Proven track record of business-to-business sales success.
* Strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
* People-oriented, customer-focused, and professionally assertive.
* Outstanding organizational skills and ability to complete difficult assignments without supervision.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
