Nurse Coordinator for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

Job OverviewWe are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at one of our High Behavior Group Homes in Helena, Montana. As a Nurse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of individuals served by our organization.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing coordination and wellness coordination for individuals in accordance with all state and federal regulations.
- Act as liaison and advocate for individuals when dealing with physicians, psychiatrists, and consultants.
- Develop and implement health care training programs for Benchmark staff, including medication training.
- Collaborate with consulting pharmacists to ensure accurate and up-to-date pharmacy information.
- Complete all necessary paperwork to document individual health and related care needs.
- Respond to emergency medical situations in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical files for assigned individuals.
- LPN licensure in the State of Montana.
- Experience in community nursing, preferably working with individuals with IDD or mental illness.
- Ability to express and exchange ideas effectively through verbal and non-verbal communication.
- Possess the skills to operate independently and/or in a team environment.
- Competitive salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year.
