Job Opportunity

We are seeking a driven and self-motivated Insurance Sales Agent to join our team in the Cumberland Farm Bureau Office located in Accomack, VA.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills for building strong relationships and a desire to help and serve their community members and organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell insurance policies to clients and build a strong book of business
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and community members
  • Meet sales targets and goals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • Property & Casualty license and Life, Health & Annuities license, or ability to obtain these with Virginia Farm Bureau providing and paying for licensing training materials/class
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work independently
  • Prior sales experience (any industry) helpful but not required
