About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Investor Relations Associate to join our team at Sorenson Capital. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our Limited Partners, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring seamless execution of our investor relations strategy.

Responsibilities:

  1. Own the development and maintenance of all LP-related materials, including pitchbooks, fund factsheets, and quarterly newsletters.
  2. Project manage and maintain our investor relations CRM, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
  3. Coordinate scheduling for roadshow meetings and prepare for investor meetings, responding to due diligence questionnaires and investor prospect follow-ups.
  4. Work closely with the Finance, Compliance, and Investment teams to provide timely and accurate responses to investors.
  5. Assist with logistics related to fund launching and closings, and evaluate LP-related software vendors to streamline workflow.
  6. Facilitate the Annual General Meeting and other investor-related events by creating presentation materials and supporting planning and logistics.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, private fund placement, private equity investor relations, or third-party fund administration.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Mature individual with sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, such as Attio, is a plus.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location: Lehi, Utah. Relocation required for this position.
