Job Overview

The Bulk Account Merchandiser (BAM) is tasked with selling, ordering, and presenting products. This role involves promoting new items and special offers, collaborating with clients to ensure accurate product orders, executing commercial strategies across their account base, and merchandising products while adhering to safe handling practices and quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversees, sells, and executes in a designated group of clients on daily, pre-scheduled routes, generating sales orders based on the assigned delivery frequency to ensure operational success and contribute to the company's financial performance in terms of revenue, volume, and gross profit.
  • Implements relevant promotions and new products based on target lists, monthly Look of Success (LOS) initiatives, marketing campaigns, Point-Of-Sale, and commercial strategies to achieve excellence in RED (Right Execution Daily) scores for assigned clients.
  • Stocks, displays, and rotates products on shelves and displays according to established procedures and special programs.
  • Organizes and maintains storage areas by categorizing and arranging products by package and flavor, coordinating the return of empty pallets and shells, as well as damaged and expired products.
  • Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials on displays and shelves where permitted. Rotates products and maintains Fastlane merchandising and vendor operations.
  • Builds and nurtures business relationships with store personnel through regular follow-ups on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and discussions on upcoming activities.
  • Identifies and communicates any competitive issues or market activities that could impact the business (e.g., pricing, new packaging, changes in business strategy) and executes all job responsibilities in a safe manner.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Effective communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
  • Prior customer service experience in a retail environment is preferred.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
  • Strong critical thinking abilities.
  • Secondary education beyond high school is preferred.
  • High initiative and eagerness to learn.
  • Career-oriented mindset and a competitive spirit.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid in-state driver's license.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Proof of insurance policy to verify current coverage of liability and property damage.
  • High School Education / GED.
