Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety Leadership: Implement and maintain effective safety programs, conduct regular job-site inspections, and lead McCarthy's safety and EEO/Affirmative Action initiatives.
  • Financial Management: Oversee project financials, including pay request and change order management, to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Project Coordination: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, owners, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Site Management: Coordinate with project superintendents, foremen, and field management to ensure smooth project logistics and schedule performance.
  • Quality Management: Oversee quality management programs to achieve contract compliance and deliver high-quality projects.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering required.
  • 7+ years of experience as a general contractor/subcontractor on sitework, underground utility, and heavy civil projects.
  • Experience with HCSS/Heavy Jobs, Procore, or Bluebeam a plus.
  • General knowledge of civil construction principles and practices required.
  • Ability to travel and/or relocate preferred.

For California locations only, the salary range for this position is: $113,000 - $154,100. This does not include possible bonus and other benefits which can impact total compensation. Compensation offered may vary based on work location, experience, qualifications, specialty, training, and market and business considerations, among other factors.
