Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect potential security threats
  • Assist guests with room access and respond to emergencies
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to prevent and respond to incidents
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Respond to accidents and incidents, and provide first aid and CPR as needed
  • Assist guests and employees during emergency situations
  • Notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents
  • Defuse guest and employee disturbances and call for outside assistance if necessary
  • Complete incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents
  • Handle all interruptions and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  • Resolve safety hazard situations and escort unwelcome persons from the property
  • Report to scenes of vehicle accidents and thefts and call for assistance as needed
  • Complete a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report
  • Maintain confidentiality of all Security/Loss Prevention and property reports/documents
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence
  • Conduct interviews with relevant parties
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • No related work experience required
  • No supervisory experience required
  • No license or certification required
Working Conditions

This role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods of time. Some states may have additional licensing/registration requirements to be considered for this position.
