About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Nurse Assistant/Mental Health Associate at Eastern State Hospital. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist licensed healthcare providers in delivering patient care to adult patients with primary psychiatric diagnoses
  2. Provide age-appropriate treatment services, including obtaining vital signs and assisting with activities of daily living
  3. Participate in planning, organizing, and implementing psychiatric rehabilitation activities
  4. Escorting patients to and from activities and providing documentation and records of patient behavior
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information
Requirements:
  • CPR certification
  • Previous healthcare experience or training
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records
