Dialysis Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Dialysis Technician to join our team at Sierra Medical Center. As a Dialysis Technician, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, performing basic hemodialysis techniques and procedures, and participating in quality improvement activities to maintain patient care standards.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including performing patient treatment from start to finish and handling daily operations between patient and dialysis machine.
- Perform basic water testing related tasks.
- Conduct dialysis required laboratory procedures and quality control, including specimen collection, blood sugar testing, completion of laboratory request forms, and proper labeling of specimens collected.
- Respond to machine alarms according to established procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of recent experience as a Dialysis Technician, Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomist, Surgical Technician, First Responder, EMT, ED Tech, or LPN required.
- CMS recognized dialysis technician certification.
- Current BCLS certification.
