Job Summary:

UnityPoint Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health Unit. As a RN Mental Health Professional, you will play a vital role in coordinating patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Delegates nursing care activities and monitors care given by appropriate care team members in accordance with patient needs and qualifications.
  • Supports the use of Evidence-Based Practice and incorporates best practices into daily care routines.
  • Collaborates with team members to develop and facilitate initiatives to strive for positive outcomes in quality and care of patients.
  • Effectively communicates with all team members, physicians, and customers.

Requirements:

  • Must have completed an accredited nursing program and possess a valid nursing license.
  • BSN preferred.
  • 2 years of behavioral health experience.
  • Psychiatric Certification.
