Job Title: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

At Alluvion Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our Collaborative Care Team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with mental health and substance abuse disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, psychotherapy, and medication management to patients.
  • Work collaboratively with primary care providers, mental health professionals, and other healthcare team members to ensure integrated care.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Prescribe and manage medications, including psychotropic medications, as appropriate.
  • Document patient histories, progress notes, and treatment plans in the electronic health record.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities to ensure compliance with Health Center Policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a Psychiatric certification.
  • Active Montana license to practice as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse with prescriptive authority.
  • Valid Driver's License issued by the State of Montana.
  • Intermediate to advanced software knowledge in Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and the ability to learn and adequately operate Alluvion Health software applications.
Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to adapt to changing circumstances. The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will work primarily in a clinical setting, with occasional travel to other clinic sites.
