Job Summary:

BloKchain Talent is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cisco Network Engineer to join our team in Anchorage, Alaska. As a key member of our network infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale Cisco networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Cisco Catalyst switches, including 2960, 3650, 9200, and 9600 Series switches.
  • Implement switching technologies, such as multi-chassis Ether-channel, Dot1Q, VTP, Spanning Tree, and Cisco Stacking/Stack Virtual technology.
  • Design and implement Cisco Wireless solutions, including IOS-XE and AIROS.
  • Configure and manage Cisco ASA Firewalls, including NAT, IPSEC, SSLVPN, Transparent/Routed modes.
  • Implement Cisco AnyConnect policies, profiles, and Secure Boot Loader (SBL).
  • Design and implement Cisco Security Suite solutions, including Secure End Point, Umbrella, DUO, StealthWatch, Thousand Eyes, and SecureX.
  • Implement Cisco ISE solutions, including MAB, Dot1x, TACACS, RADIUS, and Posture.
  • Design and implement routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
  • Design and implement VRF technology and WAN/LAN design.
  • Manage Cisco SmartNet and Licensing.
  • Implement Open Gear Console Server and logging technologies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of CCNP-level experience in Route/Switch/Wireless/Security.
  • Proficient in project management for network-focused maintenance/deployment projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server (Active Directory Structure, File/Print Services).
  • Knowledgeable in DNS, DHCP, SNMP, NTP, Dot1x, and resilience-based architecture.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Meraki solutions, NIST 800-37, GRC, and Citrix environments.
  • Basic proficiency in Linux OS and VMware.
  • Experience with SSL Certificate creation and management.
