The Inpatient Clinical Coder role at Lm2 Resource Solutions offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the accuracy and integrity of medical coding and claims processing.

About the Role: As an Inpatient Clinical Coder, you will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of coding for inpatient claims and prior authorization requests, conducting retrospective reviews of medical claims, and executing diagnosis and procedural coding for inpatient (facility) claims, including DRG assignment. You will also provide coding-related information to medical directors, providers, peer reviewers, and other stakeholders as needed, and support both non-clinical and clinical staff with coding, pricing, and retrospective claims review processes.

Requirements:
  • A solid background in inpatient facility coding and a strong understanding of DRG (Diagnosis-Related Grouping) coding principles.
  • Experience working with various coding systems and software applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.

Salary Range: $33.50 to $37.22 per hour, depending on location and experience.
