Candidates must have comprehensive experience in revenue cycle billing and coding, with expertise in CPT and ICD codes. Though primarily coding-related, the role also involves assisting with patient payments, phone calls, and claims correction.

  • Accurately process medical claim information through our EMR system, utilizing expertise in CPT and ICD codes. Experience working in AR, denials, appeals.
  • Analyze, research, and correct data entry errors using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Conduct thorough research to gather information required for revenue cycle operations analysis.
  • Test system updates related to revenue cycle processes and provide insightful feedback.
  • Resolve complex issues and problems as a go-to resource.
  • Provide training to new providers, staff, and coders to ensure everyone is up to speed.
  • Perform root cause analysis and develop prevention techniques for all denials.
  • Conduct regular coding reviews to maintain high standards.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in multi-specialty coding.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in full revenue cycle management.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not required.
  • Valid and active Certified Coding (CPC) is required.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring tasks are completed with precision and accuracy.
  • A team player who thrives in collaborative environments.
  • Strong enthusiasm and interest in the role.
Estimated Salary: $57,500 per year
