Job Title: Materials Manager

Fives Group, a leading industrial engineering group, is seeking a skilled Materials Manager to join our Supply Chain team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting manufacturing/warehouse operations, supply chain systems and processes, launch execution and scheduling, and material management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a liaison between purchasing, engineering, warehousing/manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, and suppliers to resolve issues and provide support.
  • Verify problem-solving and corrective actions are in place to support production.
  • Ensure suppliers are receiving containers back from the plant and shipping to the plant in approved containers.
  • Respond to suppliers that ship in expendable materials and drive change to reduce waste.
  • Execute deliverables in support of the supply chain organization's business objectives.
  • Guide one of the key areas within the Global Supply Chain to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas, including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product, and financial initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of container systems (CSP; OLCT; GMAP; MODS; Condor; Maxis).
  • Ability to become the Plant Subject Matter Expert in Dangerous Goods.
  • Safety Contractor Management Department Lead.
  • Lead Client elements related to packaging/containerization SME in SLT statements.
  • Support LMS initiatives and have the ability to lead changes and drive improvements.
  • GSC Plant Systems knowledge:
  • EPS - Electronic Pull System.
  • PPS - Production Pull System.
  • MGO - Material Global Optimization.
  • SPPS - Supplier Practical Problem Solving.
  • PFEP - Plan for Every Part.
  • SGV - Self-Guided Vehicles.
  • eScrap system with Barcode Printer.
