Job Description

Maintain and promote a safe and secure working environment by ensuring compliance with security and safety policy and government regulations.

  • Arrange and conduct regular safety training programs and evaluations to assess and improve workplace safety standards.
  • Recommend evidence-based safety measures to protect workers from potential hazards, ensuring a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations of workplace environments, equipment, and practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
  • Respond promptly and investigate all injuries or potential injuries, identifying corrective actions that are communicated and implemented in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive security plan for the entire facility, prioritizing the safety and security of employees, assets, and sensitive information.
  • Support the organization's commitment to environmental sustainability by participating in the annual ISO audit and contributing to the development of sustainable safety and environmental practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
Requirements
  • An associate degree is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred for this role.
Experience Requirements
  • The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in security and safety coordination, with a strong understanding of OSHA 300 Forms and incident reporting protocols.
  • Familiarity with safety data sheets and regulatory requirements is essential for success in this role.
