Overview:

  • The Clinical Training Specialist is tasked with executing uniform training methodologies related to clinical practices, revenue management, and operational functions for AdventHealth Medical Group.
  • This role involves collaboration with the Training Delivery Manager and leadership within the medical group to pinpoint, evaluate, prioritize, and fulfill the training and development requirements of practice personnel.
  • Ideal candidates will possess in-depth knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR), supplementary applications, and established workflows to bolster initiatives across the Physician Enterprise and regional sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate EHR and supplementary training initiatives throughout the medical group.
  • Provide onboarding, training, support during implementation, and ongoing enhancement efforts for new departmental integrations and healthcare providers.
  • Engage in strategic planning, execution, and deployment of projects within the Physician Enterprise and regional frameworks.
  • Oversee the ServiceNow ticketing system to recognize and monitor issues at the medical group level.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies in healthcare environments.
  • Proven experience in the execution and coordination of diverse training strategies and techniques.
  • Capability to create and present impactful training sessions and materials.
  • Excellent conflict resolution and customer service abilities.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in EHR implementation and training.
  • Familiarity with quality reporting and regulatory programs for physician practices.
  • Proficiency in process mapping and tools such as Microsoft Visio.

Experience:

  • Associate degree, certification, or 5 years of relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of training experience within healthcare settings.

Licenses:

  • Certification as an AdventHealth Epic Credentialed Trainer (to be acquired within 60 days).
