Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will spearhead the design and development of product firmware utilizing microcontrollers and real-time operating systems (RTOS), ensuring adherence to industry standards throughout the PCB design, artwork, and fabrication stages. Effective collaboration with UI/UX teams is crucial for crafting user-friendly product interfaces, while also working closely with vendors and manufacturing partners to enhance production efficiency and troubleshoot technical challenges. The role necessitates strong teamwork with Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware components.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 8 years of experience in hardware development
  • Expertise in PCB schematic capture and layout software (e.g., Altium)
  • Experience in developing electronic and small electrical appliances
  • Proficient in firmware development with microcontrollers and real-time operating systems (RTOS)
  • Knowledgeable in both analog and digital hardware development, including processors with WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities
  • Familiar with LCD displays and user interface design principles
  • Capable of developing embedded firmware and Python scripts
  • Experience in liaising with vendors and factories to improve production processes
  • Strong project management skills, capable of overseeing timelines and deliverables
