Key Responsibilities- Oversee the performance of Medical Assistants and LPNs
- Assist with patient flow issues, including performing procedures as needed
- Assist with patient acute illness screening, administrative duties, and managing phone messages for providers
- Manage the overall function of the pod, including quality assessment, improvement, medication inventory, supplies, biohazards, infection control, and audits
- Work collaboratively with the Nurse Manager and other healthcare team members to provide the best outcome for patients and the organization
- Certified Medical Assistant with the State of Washington
- Over a year of ambulatory and supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of OB/GYN medical terminology and procedures
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to provide patient education and demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served
