About the Role

HCA Healthcare Pathology Services is seeking an Associate Pathologist to join their team at Medical City Frisco. As a key member of the pathology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic services to patients and clinicians.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and interpret anatomic and clinical pathology tests, including frozen sections
  • Collaborate with other pathologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in pathology
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency

Requirements

  • AP/CP board certification is required
  • Sub-specialty preferred
  • Proficiency in breast, general surgical pathology, clinical interpretations, and recent experience performing frozen sections
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to obtain a Texas medical license or have a Texas medical license in good standing
