Job Title: POL Site Superintendent

CMS is a leading construction contractor with a strong presence in the DoD market. We are currently seeking a highly experienced POL Site Superintendent to join our team at Cannon AFB, NM.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising trade workers and subcontractors on-site to ensure safe, efficient, and quality completion of projects on time and within budget. This role requires a strong understanding of POL-related and general construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, and thorough knowledge of construction documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise trade workers and subcontractors on-site to ensure safe, efficient, and quality completion of projects
  • Responsible for safety on-site, including conducting regular safety inspections and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
  • Plan and continuously monitor the work schedule, determining manpower levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements
  • Monitor work performance and productivity of trades to ensure project specifications, procedures, quality, and safety requirements are maintained
  • Manage on-site meetings and distribute schedule updates and meeting minutes
  • Complete daily project documentation requirements, including tailgate meetings, production reports, and photo logs
  • Advise Project Management team of potential problems, work interference, and schedule difficulties, and assist in avoidance and resolution of these matters
  • Maintain liaison with other departments to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc., support project activities and schedule
Requirements:
  • Five years of DoD POL construction-related management experience within the last five years
  • Must have or be able to obtain the following certifications: OSHA 30 Hour Training Certificate, Confined Space Competent Person Certificate, and Current CPR & AED Certificate
  • Must meet the eligibility requirements for access to US Government facilities
  • Associate's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a High School Diploma or GED with equivalent on-the-job experience
Preferred Skills, Training, and Education:
  • Knowledge of POL-related and general construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, and thorough understanding of construction documents
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
