DDR Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DDR Engineer to join our dynamic team at Apple. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for crafting innovative and high-performance DDR PHY designs that meet the stringent requirements of our cutting-edge products.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform concept studies and provide direction on performance, gate count, and power for various digital designs.
- Write detailed design specifications and test plans in close collaboration with architecture, circuit designers, and verification engineers.
- Provide high-quality RTL descriptions, including assertions, for the design.
- Support design verification to ensure bug-free first silicon.
- Drive functional and code coverage as well as timing closure for your designs.
- Support silicon bring-up, performance, and power characterization.
- RTL design experience using Verilog or SystemVerilog.
- Assertion writing.
- Design of state machines, data paths, arbitration, and clock domain crossing logic.
- Logic synthesis and timing constraints.
- Exposure to Design For Test and understanding of scan concepts.
- Unified Power Format for simulation, synthesis, and electrical rule checking.
- Equivalence checking.
- Prior experience in DDR PHY design and mixed-signal environments is a plus.
- BS degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Competitive base pay range of $166,600 to $296,300.
