Lead Pool Attendant

As a Lead Pool Attendant at MGM Resorts, you will be responsible for setting the stage for exceptional guest experiences. Your welcoming smile and service will create a lasting impression on our guests, making their stay with us unforgettable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee pool staff to ensure safety standards, service delivery, cleanliness, and ambiance are met.
  • Work with supporting departments to meet operational needs.
  • Ensure staff provides safety by monitoring water and deck areas and responding to emergency situations.
  • Report incidents/accidents to a Supervisor and complete necessary documentation.
  • Proactively greet and interact with guests while adhering to company service standards.
  • Assist guests with poolside needs, including seating, towels, hours of operation, ADA requirements, amenities, directions, and other needs.
  • Direct guests to key locations in the property, including emergency exits and procedures.
  • Respond and resolve guest needs in a timely manner, creatively solving problems and anticipating potential difficulties.
  • Supervise daily pool set-up and breakdown needs, cleaning, linen distribution, and maintaining attentiveness to the environment to enhance guest experience.

Requirements:

  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms.
  • Ability to read and write.
  • Perception and awareness of individual needs and the ability to handle all situations calmly and professionally.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail.
  • Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards.
