Summer Sessions Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Summer Sessions Coordinator at the University of Rhode Island. The successful candidate will provide administrative support for our Summer Sessions program, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with administrative functions related to URI Summer Sessions and the Winter J Term, including enrollment tracking and event planning.
- Respond to student and external inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Maintain social media accounts for URI Winter J Term & Summer Sessions, collaborating with student interns and staff.
- Liaise with academic and student-service departments, as well as the Summer/J Term Office.
- Coordinate event planning for Summer Sessions' registration and support faculty teaching during Summer Sessions and the Winter J Term.
- Assist in website development for the Winter J Term and Summer Sessions, and collaborate on marketing and promotion strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, public relations, communication, or a related field.
- Demonstrated customer service experience and ability to work with diverse groups/populations.
- Experience in social media account management, event planning, and Adobe Photoshop or similar image editing software.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in written communication.
Additional qualifications include experience working in a higher education setting and proficiency in database management and spreadsheet software.
