Underwriting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Underwriting Consultant to join our team at CNA. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for managing a complex book of business, developing business strategies, and analyzing risks to ensure the highest level of underwriting expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a highly complex book of business, including underwriting, analysis, and monitoring of risks.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Analyze and assess risks to ensure accurate pricing and underwriting decisions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain underwriting policies and procedures.
- Market and sell CNA's products and services to agencies and brokers.
- Mentor and guide less experienced underwriters to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum eight years of underwriting experience.
- Advanced technical expertise, underwriting skills, and knowledge of insurance and underwriting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
