The Agent Channel Sales Manager is pivotal in recruiting, guiding, and maintaining communication with all Agent Vendors within the channel. This role is essential for achieving or surpassing the sales budget designated for the agent channel by training, motivating, and overseeing all agent vendors. Additionally, this position ensures that all agent vendors comprehend and implement the sales strategy while establishing sales objectives for them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, qualify, and manage Agents effectively.
  • Implement channel programs and policies as directed by corporate leadership.
  • Manage the channel portfolio to prevent conflicts with other sales teams.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to oversee the channel portfolio efficiently.
  • Coordinate marketing materials and messages for Agents, ensuring alignment with corporate and regional communications.
  • Utilize standard Agent Agreements, ensuring their financial viability.
  • Monitor Agent Agreements for expiration, ensuring compliance and evaluating renewal decisions.
  • Facilitate payments to Agents in accordance with Agent Agreements.
  • Track disconnects and chargebacks to Agents, ensuring reconciliation with payments.
  • Conduct performance reviews of direct reports to meet performance standards and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely installation of products/services sold by Agents.
  • Address Agent inquiries regarding installation timelines and related issues.
  • Update rate sheets for products and services in compliance with corporate/regional guidelines.
  • Continuously inform Agents about new products, product modifications, and rate changes.
  • Stay informed on technical knowledge regarding telephony, data, and video communications, Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), and networking through ongoing training.
  • Collaborate with local training coordinators to meet the training needs of Agents.
Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
  • 10 years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in a related field with 6 years of experience. Alternative combinations, such as a master's degree with 4 years of experience, are also acceptable.
  • Demonstrated skills in interpersonal leadership, presentation, and collaboration across organizational teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 or more years of experience in a management capacity or leading cross-functional projects.
  • Experience within the telecommunications sector.

The compensation package includes a base salary, with the potential for an annual incentive/commission target.
