About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team in Buford, GA. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing large heavy construction equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction and upholding our high standards of quality.

Job Summary
  • Maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and other systems on various heavy construction equipment
  • Travel to construction sites to diagnose and perform repair work
  • Stay up-to-date with safety training, product training, and service department goals
  • Order parts and materials as needed
  • Ensure all company safety requirements are followed at all times
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Trade school completion in an appropriate field (e.g., diesel mechanics, hydraulics)
  • Knowledge of safe job practices & regulations related to OSHA, MSHA
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge of tools and mechanical work for repairing equipment
  • Above-average knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, diesel engines
  • Customer orientation toward service and building relationships
  • Ability to work branch hours and extended days as needed
  • Possession of your own set of tools for repairing equipment
