About the Role

At Openwork, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist to support the operational effectiveness of our production department. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to breakdown calls, troubleshooting, analyzing and repairing mechanical equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • We require a highly skilled individual who can provide limited electrical support for 208/480V devices including motor starters, VFD's, PLC's, pumps, conveyor motors, transformers, etc.
  • The ideal candidate will possess the ability to complete repairs of all manufacturing equipment, encompassing fabrication and mechanical scopes of all repairs.
  • A strong understanding of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is essential for work order assignments, completion, pm development, spare part inventory, preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, capital projects, corrective work and managing parts through cycle counts.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Prior experience as an expert user of CMMS and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) systems is crucial.
  • Applicants should have hands-on experience with VFD installation, programming, welding, PLC troubleshooting, ladder diagram interpretation, motor and drive replacement/setup, mechanical drives, extrusion/compounding/injection molding equipment.
  • A minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is required.
