Facility Housekeeper Role

Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for maintaining a clean and inviting environment? We're seeking a skilled Facility Housekeeper to join our team at U-Haul. As a Facility Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide thorough cleaning and sanitizing of storage units, hallways, restrooms, and other areas
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables in a responsible manner
  • Maintain and track cleaning supply inventory, requesting supplies as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of our facilities

Requirements:
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to tasks

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50lbs assisted or unassisted.
