Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled engineer to collaborate with our Clarus Research team. This role involves gaining proficiency in circular knitting machinery, planning weaving experiments, and developing unique fabric constructions. You will also have the chance to assess the performance characteristics of the fabrics created, aligning with customer-specific objectives. The ideal candidate will possess textile experience or be a recent graduate from a relevant textile program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Clarus R&D team to execute and troubleshoot fabric research and development projects.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in weaving, flatbed, and circular knitting techniques.
  • Conduct laboratory testing on developed fabrics.
  • Design experiments aimed at enhancing fabric performance.
  • Document findings and provide insightful conclusions and recommendations.
Qualifications
  • Education: An advanced degree in Textile Engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, along with strong interpersonal and analytical abilities.
