Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Relations Liaison to join our team at Medstar. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers and offices within our service lines or geographic regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase referral volumes and promote Medstar Health services and providers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key physicians, office staff, and hospital administrators to foster awareness of Medstar Health services and providers.
  • Use prospecting, relationship building, and closing skills to retain and grow referrals into Medstar Health.
  • Coordinate and participate in relationship development strategies to generate new patient referrals.
  • Meet with physician offices and other healthcare facilities to promote and grow the services and offices of Medstar Health.
  • Monitor local competition and changes in the marketplace to identify new opportunities and challenges.
  • Develop and maintain a business growth plan for achieving sales goals within geographic areas and specific accounts.
  • Track and monitor referral trends and make adjustments to the business plan as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing/Sales, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of medical/healthcare or physician relations/liaison sales experience.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for work.
