Assistant Director of Nursing Services

Responsibilities- Supervise and lead a team of skilled nursing professionals to ensure the delivery of quality care and services to residents.
- Assist the Director of Nursing Services in maintaining the skilled nursing budget, including labor expenses, medical supplies, and census management.
- Participate in the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process to ensure accurate and comprehensive assessments of resident needs.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Sunrise Senior Living policies.
- Graduate of an approved college or school of nursing.
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) per state regulations.
- One (1) year of supervisory and nurse management experience, including hiring staff, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision, discipline, and counseling in a nursing environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods as applied to skilled nursing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local long-term care regulations.
- Competent in the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI).
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, possess written and verbal skills for effective communication, and demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), and the ability to learn new applications.
