We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Services Representative to join our team at Northwell Health. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying patient insurance information, obtaining financial demographic data, and promoting service excellence at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Verify patient insurance information, including primary payor data, and notify nurses of any changes.
- Obtain financial demographic information from discharge planners and outside referrals.
- Provide information on insurance coverage and patient financial responsibility to discharge planners.
- Complete insurance verification forms and enter verified information into computer systems.
- Act as a liaison between verifications and reimbursement teams.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in patient access or insurance verification.
Additional Compensation Information
The salary range for this position is $39,290-$59,800 per year. Please note that salary ranges may be modified in the future and may not reflect the most up-to-date information. Candidates should discuss salary and benefits with a recruiter if selected for an interview.
