Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable Fabrication Lead to oversee our fabrication processes. In this role, you will mentor and guide team members in various operational areas, including bindery, cutting, and kitting. Your expertise will be crucial in training both new and existing staff on optimal machine setup and workflow processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mentorship and coaching to employees in designated areas.
  • Train team members on efficient machine operations and production flow.
  • Conduct quality checks prior to shipment, ensuring adherence to customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with management to provide feedback on team performance and skill development.
  • Engage in hands-on work while leading by example.

Shift Availability: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • OSHA 10 Hour Certification is advantageous.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Essential Skills:

  • Detail-oriented with a structured approach to tasks.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications, including Google Suite.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

In this position, you will:

  • Lead and communicate effectively with a team of peers and temporary staff.
  • Analyze workflows to establish efficient operational standards.
  • Utilize various fabrication techniques to ensure product accuracy.
  • Monitor operations for quality assurance and troubleshoot as necessary.
  • Support the training and development of both permanent and temporary employees.
