Research Data Analyst VI

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Data Analyst VI to join our team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services. This is a senior-level position that requires advanced research and data analysis skills, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct advanced research and data analysis to support program evaluation and continuous quality improvement
• Develop and implement data collection tools, databases, and reporting systems
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to inform program decisions and policy development
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data needs and develop solutions
• Train and supervise staff on data collection and analysis techniques
• Develop and maintain databases and data systems to support program operations
• Prepare and present research findings and data reports to stakeholders
Requirements:
• Master's degree in a relevant field, such as statistics, research methods, or data analysis
• 5+ years of experience in research and data analysis, preferably in a government or healthcare setting
• Advanced knowledge of statistical concepts and methods, as well as data analysis software and tools
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets and communicate findings to stakeholders
Working Conditions:
• This is a full-time position, with a standard 40-hour workweek
• The position requires occasional travel to meetings and training sessions
• The position may require working on weekends or evenings to meet deadlines or complete projects
