A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Sales and Formulation Specialist to join our team at ABB. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling products, systems, and services to end users and Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC's) bundling, Modular Skids Engineered Packages including Mechanical, Electrical Instruments, and Automation Systems with a focus on reaching profitability targets for BL Blending.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell products, systems, and services to end users and EPC's bundling, Modular Skids Engineered Packages including Mechanical, Electrical Instruments, and Automation Systems with a focus on reaching profitability targets for BL Blending.
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promote their understanding of ABB's complete product, systems, and services offering, and align with them to provide a solution.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Prepare sales plans using ABB authorized tools.
  • Perform regular status reviews and propose recovery plans in case of any potential order shortfalls.
  • Create added value for the customer and ABB and ensure the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniques.
  • Communicate to the customers about the details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions in line with ABB's offering and strategy.
  • Ensure efficient marketing activities and communicate value proposition to customers.
  • Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
  • Manage administrative procedures in sales processes and support cash collection and project management activities when needed.
  • Prepare offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and or the Marketing Manager.
  • Ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers are in place including prices and trading conditions.
Requirements
  • Bachelors in Engineering preferred or related technical field with minimum eight (8) years of experience including a minimum of 4 years in blending and formulation systems, preferably in the Paints and Adhesives market.
  • 3 plus years of experience in Account management, business development and adoption, sales enablement within direct sales and/or sales management.
  • Proven customer experience success.
  • Experience of engagement with paint, resins, adhesives, lubricant, and grease customers. Pulp & Paper experience is an added value.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 60%.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
