Job Summary

We are seeking an Associate Underwriter to join our Amwins Access team in Palm Beach Gardens. As an Associate Underwriter, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our clients and supporting the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review submissions information to issue new or renewal quotes
  • Rate and prepare new or renewal quotes as directed by Underwriter
  • Review and handle inspection recommendations and discrepancies
  • Monitor various reports for consistency
  • Potential for policy issuance and endorsement processing, including audits
  • Assist in accounting procedures such as invoicing
  • Data entry into multiple internet-based systems
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of prior insurance experience required
  • Florida Property and Casualty 2-20 License Required
  • Exceptional communication skills, organization, professionalism, and customer-service mentality
  • Diligent work ethic who are able to complete complex tasks independently and in a timely manner
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft 365 proficiency with an emphasis on Excel spreadsheets
