TransForce is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating mobile cranes to lift, move, and position loads. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities- Operate mobile cranes to lift, move, and position loads in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections on cranes and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with riggers and site supervisors to determine required load movement and ensure safe operation.
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Drive company vehicles to work sites and unload equipment as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-5 years of experience operating mobile cranes and heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ANSI standards in crane operations.
- Ability to read and speak English fluently.
- Pass a drug test and background check.
- CDL Class A license.
- NCCCO, TSS, TLL, or LBC certification.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to lift, climb, and work at heights. You will be exposed to extreme weather conditions and may be required to work long hours, including weekends and holidays.
