Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandise Processing Associate to join our team at Alma School Store (Alma School & Ray). As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for processing donated merchandise in preparation for sale in our store locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and prepare donated merchandise for sale, including pricing and ticketing, to meet minimum quota and sales targets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Inspect and analyze donated merchandise to determine quality, category, size, and cleaning requirements.
  • Identify and report any hazardous or potentially hazardous materials found during processing.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and promote a positive customer experience.
  • Participate in cross-training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and inventory management.
Requirements
  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
