Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst III

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst III to join our team at The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America. As a Business Intelligence Analyst III, you will play a critical role in identifying business intelligence, reporting, and data analysis needs for Commercial and Government Markets (CGM).

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify business intelligence, reporting, and data analysis needs for Commercial and Government Markets (CGM)
* Work closely with BI Consultants, end users, and IT teams to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions
* Identify and address critical issues
* Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders
* Provide data that is accurate, congruent, and reliable, and ensure the information is easily available to users for direct consumption or integration with other systems
* Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action
* Educate and train business partners to use the data as an analytical tool, displaying the information in new forms and content for analysis and option exploration
* Work with users to determine business requirements, priorities, define key performance indicators (KPI), and develop BI and data warehouse (DE) strategy
* Collect business intelligence data from available industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources
* Conduct analyses of functional business processes and functional business requirements and participate in the development of business cases in the support of process changes
* Work with business and development teams to design and document dashboards, alerts, and reports
* Identify or monitor current and potential customers using business intelligence tools
* Accountable for providing leadership and independent initiatives in facilitating information gathering, structured documentation, and presentation of findings to all levels of management

Requirements:

* Employer will accept a Master's degree in Business Analytics or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Business Intelligence Analyst III-related occupation
